AMENDED via SUBSTITUTE: Requires any nonprofit that receives more than $50,000 in grants or other funding from the General Assembly in a single fiscal year, to report to the General Assembly on employee compensation within 90 days of receipt; requires disclosure of total benefits provided to the five highest-compensated employees with reportable compensation of at least $100,000; requires a description of the position, total salary and compensation paid, and all benefits provided, such as health insurance, retirement or pension contributions, and allowances for cars, lodging, or phones; allows organizations to redact employee names. Requires employers to provide new employees with a written notice, in English, providing the rate of pay and how it is calculated (hourly, salary, piecework, etc.), any allowances for meals or lodging, employer's policy for leave and holidays, the employee's status as exempt or non-exempt from minimum wage and overtime, permissible payroll deductions, duration of the pay period and timing of paydays, and the employer's full contact information; requires employers to keep a copy of employee's signed acknowledgement that they received the required notice, for three years; violations may incur fines of at least $400.
